DESCRIPTION:You are invited to gather together at 2:45 pm Thursday\, September 17\, 2026 \n\nDuring early days of our country\, bells (church bells\, firehouse bells\, and town and city \n\nhall bells) were used to call people together\, to alert them to important announcements \n\nor events.\n\nSeptember 17th will mark the 239th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution\, which is \n\ncommemorated annually by the "Ringing of the Bells" across America. The Daughters of \n\nthe American Revolution have allowed Unit 50 of the American Legion Auxiliary to join \n\nthem in coordinating this year's "Ringing of the Bells Across America Celebration". \n\nBells will be rung across our land for ONE MINUTE beginning at 3pm (Central time) and \n\nbells both large and small will ring for one minute. Then\, together\, we will all recite the \n\nPreamble to commemorate this special anniversary.
