DESCRIPTION:A celebration of the 150th anniversary of The First Baptist Church of Cleburne will take place Saturday\, May 5\, coinciding with the official founding of the church on May 5\, 1868.\n\n            Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and will include dramatic vignettes of church milestones\, a variety of exhibits including the dress of the first bride married in the current church auditorium\, children's activities and special music featuring the hand bell choir and a reunion choir and orchestra\, involving current and returning members.\n\n            The celebration will be highlighted by a message by Dr. David Hardage\, executive director of the Baptist General Convention of Texas.            \n\nThose attending are invited to lunch to be served at noon\, which will be provided by the church. Reservations are requested by April 22 and may be made by calling 817-645-6684 or accessing the church website\, www.fbccleburne.org which also lists detailed information on anniversary festivities.
