DESCRIPTION:The Johnson County Iris and Daylily Society meeting on Saturday\, November 11th\, will feature Judges Training by Laura Smargiasso\, Garden and Exhibition Judge since 2015\, on Miniature Tall Bearded Irises.  Smargiasso has been a member of the local society for almost 20 years\, holding various offices including president and treasurer.  She has been a Johnson County Master Gardener for 15 years.  This training is for anyone who is interested in becoming a judge as well as for anyone wanting to learn more about this type of iris.  Applications for becoming an American Iris Society Garden and Exhibition judge will be available at the class.  The training is free to all and will be presented from 11 to 12.  The regular business of the club will be conducted from 10 to 11 and includes refreshments.
