Yet\, to musicians\, the first call when putting a band together is to the bassist.  That person will usually determine how strong the band will be.  In the North Texas area\, the bassist on everybody's first-call list is Lynn Seaton.  Many professional bass players have studied with Seaton just so that their resume will reflect that they have been a student of the great Lynn Seaton.  Thus\, when he puts together a jazz combo\, it is a big deal!\n\n\n\nJoining Lynn on the Songbird Live concert on Saturday\, Oct. 13th (7:30) will be be drummer Hiroki Pete Kitazawa and pianist Peter Rioux.
