DESCRIPTION:BrandU is a self-branding event that encourages students and young professionals from Southwestern Adventist University\, Hill College\, and Johnson County to work on their personal brand. The BrandU event will include resume coaching\, professional headshots\, networking opportunities\, in-depth discussions on entrepreneurship\, and face-to-face interactions with business leaders from around the country. \n\n\n\nBrandU focuses on the need to impact young people in our area and help them succeed in the workplace. Local businesses and community organizations will be brought in to give participants the opportunity to meet professional goals and connect with the local business community. Through BrandU\, students and young professionals will learn to market themselves and have an improved sense of success. \n\n\n\nThe BrandU event will be marketed towards students from Southwestern Adventist University\, Hill College in Cleburne\, Texas\, as well as high schools students and young professionals from Johnson County. This group includes thousands of young people that will be the community's next generation of leaders and professionals. Considering the current trend towards population and business growth in the Johnson County area\, it is important to have enough leaders to match that growth\, and BrandU aims to be a part of the solution.
