$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment to produce quality parts according to specifications.
- Load and run programs on Mazak laser machines while ensuring optimal machine performance.
- Utilize Radan nesting software to maximize material usage and minimize waste.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and product quality throughout the production process.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet production goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC laser operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating Mazak laser cutting machines required.
- Proficiency with Radan nesting software or similar CAD/CAM nesting programs.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and laser gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve minor operational issues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift and material-handling experience preferred.
