Supplies List:

• A good basic set of oil paints, including:
  • titanium white
  • yellow ochre
  • cadmium lemon
  • cadmium red
  • alizarin crimson
  • ultramarine blue
  • transparent red oxide
  • raw umber
  • mars or ivory black
• A set of long-handled hog bristle brushes for oil painting, along with smaller synthetic detail brushes like a chisel blender, liner brush, and rounds.
• Palette: Choose a large one that comfortably holds and mixes your oil paints. Options include glass, wood, or tear-off paper sheet pads.
• Palette knife: Opt for a medium-sized trowel-type with a flexible blade, perfect for mixing colors and applying textured paint. A metal knife is recommended.
• Painting surfaces: Get canvas panels or stretched canvas in various sizes, with 8"x10" recommended for beginners.
• Oil painting mediums: Essential for tweaking paint consistency and drying time. Grab a small bottle of linseed oil.
• A small jar or cup with a lid for storing your mediums.
• Gamsol for cleaning brushes.
• Brush cleaning tank: Silicoil brush cleaning tank is top-notch.
• Microfiber cleaning cloth to keep things tidy.
