Certified Medical Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our medical facility. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise in medical terminology and patient service will be invaluable in creating a positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Administer medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, utilizing medical terminology effectively.
- Support medical administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and contacting patients with results.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the medical facility.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in Gynecology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
