About Us
Indigenous Institute of the Americas sponsors the IIAC Powwow and Cultural Celebration at the Chisholm Outdoor Museum in Cleburne, TX. It is largest Native American arts and crafts event in North Texas. Our organization serves North Texas and surrounding States providing educational programs, mobile displays and consultation services to corporate, nonprofit and school districts. Our Seed Ambassador program incorporates fun and interesting knowledge about Indigenous foods, agriculture, medicines and general cultural knowledge designed to peak the natural curiosity we all have about our universe. Our focus is on Indigenous knowledge which may be of benefit in today's world. Our funding is through sponsorship and donations. We are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff.
