About Us
JN Long Cultural Arts Center hosts numerous gallery shows, throughout the year, in our two art galleries. We are also home to two museums. The Texas Woodcarvers Guild Museum showcases hundreds of carvings created by artisans from across the state. The Transportation Museum includes two model H railroad displays with a total of five running tracks. The Made in Texas Gift Shop offers one of a kind gifts created by local artists and artisans. Visitors will find hand painted furniture, home décor items, jewelry and much more. Our museums and art exhibits are always open to the public at no charge.
Talk to us about the many art groups who meet at JN Long Cultural Arts Center and individual artist offering classes from drawing to ceramics. Enjoy solo artists shows and learn how to become a member and host your own show or offer classes. We have space for groups ranging from 5 or 6 to 200.
There's something at JN Long cultural Arts Center for the whole family. Join the Johnson County Art Guild, Cleburne Camera Club, or the Johnson County Iris and Daylily Society. We have three free book exchange libraries for kids, teens and adults - bring a book, take a book and enjoy the reading.
Our mission as a nonprofit arts organization is to to enhance the quality of life in Cleburne and Johnson County by building a strong Cultural Arts Community and increasing public awareness of the arts. Come visit and see all we have to offer.
