About Us
The Johnson County Historical Commission is responsible for identifying and preserving Johnson County's historic resources. The continued presence of historic properties in Johnson County enhances the quality of our lives; helps to establish our sense of place and defines the very character of our community. The Historical Commission focuses on conserving each of Johnson County 's cities historic resources and promoting civic awareness of the communities' history.

The Commission Meets the 4th Monday of every Month at 6:00pm January - November Location subject to change.
