6th Annual Operation Blessing Fishing Tournament
Operation Blessing of Johnson County is a Faith-based organization whose mission is to share God’s Word and His love, to let that love flow through to those who are hurting and in need. The organization, located at 105 George St. in Cleburne, TX 76031, is governed by a Board of Directors and staffed primarily by volunteers. Generous partners are the keys to our success and make it possible for Operation Blessing to provide local individuals and families in need with assistance and critical services. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on your support to help us demonstrate love to those who are hurting. We are supported by individual and corporate donations. Founded in 1980, Operation Blessing of Johnson County has become an integral support agency for more than 40 years here in Johnson County. We help more than 1,500 needy individuals monthly. Clients of Operation Blessing of Johnson County come from all backgrounds. We help seniors, singles, veterans, and families with children. Our help also extends to the homeless or disabled that live in the county. No matter the person's background, Operation Blessing of Johnson County will do our best to assist or find some type of resource for their need. Food and Clothing are the main resources you will find at Operation Blessing of Johnson County. Clothing, houseware, furniture, bedding, and baby items are donated by the community. We receive food assistance from the food bank and several commercial vendors. Here in Johnson County, TX, we strive to help each other out. Operation Blessing of Johnson County has a prescription assistance program that aids all residents of Johnson County, TX. We help people with and without insurance. A grant from the United Way helps us fund our Prescription Program
Our counseling center, The Venting Place, is operated by state-certified counselors. Operation Blessing of Johnson County created this unit to help clients in recovery from problems such as chemical dependency, anger management, and stress management. There will often be a low cost for these sessions. The address is 501 N. Heard St. Ste. E, Cleburne, Texas 76033. Throughout the years, many churches and organizations have held food drives that help to stock the pantry shelves. We also receive funding from donations by individuals, churches, businesses, and many of our community organizations such as United Way and King’s Daughters. Our organization is locally funded and not affiliated with Operation Blessing International.
