IIAC 2025 Indigenous Institute of the Americas Celebration

The 18th annual II Americas Celebration (IIAC): Honoring Indigenous Cultures Dance and Arts is presented by the Indigenous Institute of the Americas a 501(C)3 nonprofit Texas organization co-sponsored by the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum. Gourd Dance, Powwow, Vendors, Food Trucks and Educational Fun Activities.

12:30 pm Opening Ceremony and Grand Entry
6 pm to 8 pm Special Night Market with Entertainment
SUNDAY, April 6th, 2025: 10 am to 4 pm
NOON COMING HOME POWWOW DANCE SPECIAL for children and adults who were removed from their Indigenous culture due to divorce, foster care, boarding schools, relocation, adoption, and other circumstances. No regalia is needed to join us for this special acknowledgment and honoring dance. Follow our event page for more details.

The IIAC gathering reflects the complex and diverse history, contemporary lives, and resilient adaptations of American Indian and Indigenous cultures today.
We are the Largest Native American Art Market in North Texas. American Indian and Indigenous artists, crafters, and Traditional product makers from Indigenous Nations across the Americas will be represented.
Plan to attend both days; Each brings unique entertainment and enjoyment. This family-oriented event will keep children of all ages entertained. The beautiful outdoor environment is perfect for the Pow-wow Dancers, Demonstrations, Crafts, Traditional Stickball play and Learning activities. Come hungry for frybread Indian tacos.
