Take a Swing at Senior Hunger

Meals on Wheels North Central Texas invites you to celebrate the seniors we serve at the 33^rd Annual Golf Benefit, Take a Swing at Senior Hunger, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Cleburne Golf Links. This year we are adding a golf ball drop, shoot-outs, hole in ones and other exciting contests throughout the day.  Sponsorship opportunities are now available.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Meals on Wheels saw unheard numbers of seniors in need.  For the first time in our history, we had a waiting list of over 100 seniors needing our services.  Thankfully, today that number is zero!  Our home-delivered meals continue to help keep seniors in their homes, where they truly want to be. Our program offers so much more than just a nutritious meal by also delivering socialization, safety checks and connections to other services.
Even with Covid-19 still present, we are taking precautions to ensure the health & safety of the participants and are confident the event will be better than ever!  Events like this will be essential for companies to brand, reconnect with their clients/employees while giving back to their community, and have some FUN!  
This year we anticipate over 300 players and volunteers for a fun-filled day on the golf course! All look forward to the Golf Benefit because they know they will enjoy a great day, but more importantly, they will be helping their homebound senior neighbors.
