CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Belton, Texas
Monday - Friday 
8:00 am - 5:00 pm 
$15.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives
  • Place orders on a timely basis for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production
  • Handle customer complaints and questions and follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required
  • Maintain customer files
  • Process new items and build spec according to provide files
  • Process purchase orders
  • Coordinate with accounting to process customer credits
  • Record and distribute customer order changes
  • Email confirmations to customers
  • Assist sales personnel as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales
  • Track warehouse items to ensure availability and that agreed upon minimum/maximum levels are followed
  • Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Computer data-entry experience
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Able to read and interpret sales reports, operating instructions, training and procedure manuals
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages and calculate figures and amounts
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of products and production processes
  • Knowledge of quality standards – both ISO and QS
